Joltik has to be the cutest spider I've ever seen.
I couldn't find any art of it in it's actual environment, the Chargestone Cave, so I decided to solve the problem myself. And I really like how the BG came out.
Firstly the artist has captured the quintessential essence of Joltik's design, an adorable fuzzy tiny spider/tick.
The artist has used the eyes of Joltik as the main focus of emotion, looking towards the viewer in a friendly manner. The posing also shows that this Joltik is in a playful mood, looking as if he is about to jump towards the viewer.
Using the knowledge from the newly (worldwise) released Pokemon Black and White, that Joltik's natural enviroment is Chargestone Cave, the artist was able to design a suitable background, with the eletricial crystals discharging towards the eletric type Joltik.
Over all this is a fantastic artwork that shows that Spider's can have an adorable side.
Evolved it, have it in my team, never regretted having Tarantesla. Just recently I managed to complete the 2nd set of Multi-Train Battle Subway against a Simisear with Thunder with it.
